Spencer Eccles, Chairman of the Board
Upon graduating with his Bachelor of Arts in History, Spencer studied for and received a Master of Business Administration. He was recruited by the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Olympic Winter Games to develop and manage Snowbasin as an Olympic and Paralympic venue. When the Olympics ended, he worked for four years as a securities analyst for Wells Capital Management. He then founded Longbow Holding Company and Eccles Management Group to invest in venture capital and private equity opportunities.
Spencer serves on the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors, where he chairs the International Committee; on the Ogden Pioneer Heritage Board of Trustees, and is President of the First Security Foundation. Currently, he is serving on the Tanner Humanities Center advisory board for the annual World Leader’s Lecture Forum, which recently brought former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak to campus.
Steve Young, Director
Stephen D. Young, joined the FranklinCovey as Executive Vice President of
Finance, was appointed Chief Accounting Officer in January 2001, Chief
Financial Officer in November 2002, and Corporate Secretary in March
2005. Prior to joining the Company he served as Senior Vice-President
of Finance, Chief Financial Officer and director of international
operations for Weider Nutrition for seven years. Mr. Young has 25 years
of accounting and management experience. Mr. Young is a Certified
Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree
from Brigham Young University.

Jared Hutchings, Director
Jared Hutchings was the Founding Managing Director of the University Venture Fund, an independent venture fund that belongs to students. Aligning strategic relationships and raising founding capital were all key first steps to creating a strong operating base for the Fund. Starting out essentially as a club at the University of Utah in 2001, Jared transformed the operation into an $18 million venture capital fund with a traditional LP structure that involves students at multiple schools. The educational value of UVF has since increased exponentially as the students have taken on the responsibility of investing real money and reporting to the LPs.
Jared is currently responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Peer Venture Partners. Jared is also responsible for the national 'University Private Equity Summit', an annual event held in Salt Lake City, UT. This conference, which began in 2004, unites student venture funds and private equity clubs at universities across the country. Jared received a BS in Finance from the University of Utah in 2002. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife and son.
Keith C. Norris, Director
Mr. Norris co-founded COMPLETExRM in 2006 and is responsible for overseeing all business operations and working closely with customers as the COO and President. Keith has over 12 years of operations and managerial experience within the start-up environment which extends to production, publishing and project management. At the age of 20, he began his own company that provided car audio and cellular installation services to automotive dealers. Two years later the company was sold to the regions largest provider of mobile electronics.
In 2000, Mr. Norris served as the VP of Marketing for the artist, Rodney Wade. During this time, Mr. Norris cordinated the first ever publishing of works to print and Giclee, and exhibited at the ART EXPO in San Francisco and New York. Today, the works can be found in galleries in: Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Salt Lake City, Park City, San Francisco and Beijing. In 2001 he raised capital to create an event hosting company for the 2002 Olympics; providing hosting services and events for gold medal athletes, entertainers, media, VIPs and corporate sponsors such as Anheuser Busch, JVC and Red Bull. Mr. Norris events received positive reviews in local and national publications such as the Hollywood Reporter and Details Magazine.
Mr. Norris began his career in the real estate industry at the age of 26 and has won numerous annual awards from Coldwell Banker, including the prestigious Presidential Elite and Top 1% Producer awards. His experience in creating and deploying Internet-based marketing and sales campaigns for the real estate industry led to the creation of a hosted-software service called RecruitTool. Besides creating technology solutions for the industry, he has authored numerous training programs and guides for real estate agents. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Weber State University.
Michael J. Morgan, Director
Mr. Morgan co-founded COMPLETExRM in 2006 and is responsible for creating and executing on the company's overall vision as the CEO. Mike began his entrepreneur career at 18 when he created his own real estate firm known as Cambridge Realty. Within three years, at the age of 21, he created American Elite Mortgage to provide a range of full services to real estate agents and their clients. As his businesses expanded, he also recognized a fundamental shift within the industry towards technology for data management. After recognizing a significant need to provide solutions that would assist agents and brokers alike to manage their complex, dynamic transactions, he began to define a technology solution that could be utilized in his industry.
After successfully selling his companies to NRT, a multi-billion dollar organization focused on the real estate market, he was asked to remain with Coldwell Banker to teach and implement his successful methods to Coldwell agents. In 2002 Mr. Morgan was recognized by Utah Association of Realtors as one of the “Top 30 under 30.” In 2007, he lead and guided a team of Coldwell agents and was recognized as one the top 50 producers within Coldwell Banker. He studied Art History while attending the University of Utah.
